Noren
For the hospitality front desk

The routine half of reception, done for you.

Noren sends each guest their check-in link, collects the signed house rules on their phone, and runs your event sign-ups and waiting lists. The people at your desk can look after the people in front of them.

How a stay runs

From booking to tonight's event

  1. The booking comes in

From Cloudbeds, typed at the desk, or the guest scans a QR code at reception and fills in their own details.

  2. The guest gets their link

An email in your property's name, with the link to their house rules. Replies come straight back to you. WhatsApp is coming.

  3. They sign on their phone

Everyone in a group signs for themselves, by link or on a tablet at the desk. A signed copy is kept for you.

  4. Reception sees who is ready

Today's arrivals show each guest's status, so the desk only deals with the ones who need help.

  5. They join what's on

The week's programme on their phone: sign up, join a waiting list, pay at reception. Your team sees the numbers for every event.

One platform

Start with what your desk needs

Noren is one sign-in for your team, with modules on top, and you use the ones you need. It is built first for places people stay: hostels, guesthouses, surf camps and small hotels. Events for venues without rooms are planned.

Available

Noren Stay

Check-in links, house rules signed on the phone, today's arrivals, bookings from Cloudbeds or the desk.

Available

Noren Events

Planned

Noren Housekeeping

Guest requests and the rooms and beds to clean, in the same place.

Why the name

The curtain at the door

Noren, said NO-ren

In Japan a noren is the split cloth curtain hung at the door of an inn or a restaurant. Hung out, it says the house is open. It is the guest's first step in, and that is the part of the stay Noren looks after.

Who we are

Built in Sri Lanka, at a real front desk

Noren is built in Sri Lanka by Amal Liyanage, with front-desk staff who test each feature before it reaches guests.
